Fiction as Context

We had the great pleasure to pull together a set of books for Mr. Imes' class as they researched topics in biotechnology. Their assignment was to choose a book or movie that deals with biotechnology in some way, assess the science used in the book or movie, and write an essay that compares the fictional technology with their class learning. What a great way to get excited about a topic and gain a real-world context.
